Improved SIR - Covid-19 Prediction Model

SIR (Susceptible-Infected-Removed) model to estimate the peak while a data-driven approach based on past outbreaks is used to predict the decline of the epidemic.

The model forecasts and characterization of the pandemic data are performed by a research team at IIT Kanpur headed by Prof. Rajesh Ranjan (Dept. of Aerospace Engineering) and Prof. Mahendra Verma (Dept. of Physics).
